A few brief words need to be said about those wonderful Russian horsemen. Working together required a lot of faith and trust on both sides. Without their honesty, integrity and devotion to the Orlovs, none of this would have been possible. The words "Thank you" cannot convey our deep appreciation.
A warm and grateful "Thank You" also goes to Igor, our wonderful Russian agent. He went above and beyond the call, arranging numerous veterinary visits, tests, x-rays and photo sessions at our request, as well as managing with ease the endless paperwork and technicalities involved in the shipping of horses from his country. His honesty and hard work deserve a far greater reward than we could ever afford.
And last, but never least, our friend Judith. We would have never had contact with any of these wonderful people or horses without her. She handled more panicking phone calls than one person ever should. Her endless patience and faith helped us through some rocky choices. Her love of the Orlov breed and the Russian people is an example to us all. The Orlovs could have no greater friend. If the breed is to survive at all it will be through her tireless efforts.
